Joseph T. May, Writer/ Director/ Producer
Joseph T. May continues to receive accolades in the film and television industries. His feature films, “Danny” and “A Saab Story” are evidence. The straight-to-video film “Danny”, shot on Super 8 film, is award-winning,  nominated for a BSAS award in 1998.

His sitcom, “The Mourning Knitwit Knews”, which he wrote, produced, directed, and starred in for five seasons, is ground-breaking, startling, hilarious, and provocative. The show is currently stunning cable television audiences in both Los Angeles and New York City and was recently submitted to Saturday Night Live, Mad TV, and Comedy Central.

He received his jump-start in film as assistant director of "Fire Eyes", a documentary film produced by Soraya Mier. Film training at the University of Michigan, LACC, and Fordam University sparked his desire to produce films of extraordinary depth and humor.

Kathryn Melton,  Executive Producer
Kathryn Melton works in various aspects of the entertainment industry as producer, playwright, and performer. She received the Fonda-McGuire Playwright Award for her play “Hedda’s Gift” and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Coleman and Smith Artistic Company (COLSAC) in Hollywood.

As production assistant on AFI’s Women’s Directing Project and an active member of Women in Film, she continues to interact with many of the industry's heavy-hitters.

Patricia Clifton, Production Manager
A reputable producer and casting director in film and television, Patricia received an Emmy for her work on political show “Full Disclosure” in 2002.

Working primarily in the cable industry for the past 10 years, her credits include over 100 community programs produced throughout the Hollywood/Los Angeles areas. Cable shows include Skip E. Lowe Looks At Hollywood, Connie Martinson Talks Books, and Joan Quinn Profiles.

A native of Washington, D.C., Patricia worked in the Original Programming Department at Comcast as Production Coordinator.

As associate producer with Check The Gate Productions, her feature film credits include “Danny”, and “A Saab Story”.
